Lake Erie Crossing Swim Report – August 15th, 2010
Sturgeon Point, NY, USA to Crystal Beach, Ontario, Canada
This is my best recollection of the events of our crossing of Lake Erie. Please remember that this report is from the brain of a person who was thrashed around by the lake for over six and a half hours! I may be somewhat inaccurate with mileages along the way, but I am rather confident that the events occurred in this order!

The theme of the entire race was "go with the flow!" The event was supposed to start at 9:00, but at the pre-race meeting the night before, the director moved the start time to 8:30. The race didn't actually start until about 9:10. Go with it...

CHAMPS INFO! CHAMPS INFO! CHAMPS INFO!
Hi Everyone!!!
So, our champs meet is coming up and many of you have started to ask questions about it! We have some first-timers at this year’s champs meet which is really exciting. Our men are defending champs this year (they placed first in the “large team” division last year) and our women placed second to Erie in the large team division so we’ll be looking for a first this year, Wave ladies!
