The Grove City meet has a special place in all of our hearts since it is conveniently located in close proximity to a Cranberry Wave restaurant staple, COMPADRES Mexican Cuisine. Of course we had to stop on our way home given the fiendish hunger caused by over exposure to chlorine. You can see where my priorities fall. The Greensburg meet seems like a home meet for many of the swimmers on the wave and various other swimmers throughout the league. We discovered many folks that started their swimming careers and have much history at the Greensburg YMCA.
The reversed order meet definitely makes things interesting. Instead of the 1-3 usual heats of the 500 free, there were nine heats yesterday, so you could say everyone took full advantage of the reverse order situation..
